I like what these people do and what Williamson (used to) represent but... FFS, talking shite for half an hour. Iggy Pop likes your stuff? Yeah, great! NME, What is the purpose of this? To normalise people who are now at a remove from the people they claim to care about and/or represent? Or is it just a wankfest for stalkers? I just don't get it. Really, how is this any different from the infamous Smash Hits: What's your favourite colour?

Often people wanna get to know more about the artists of songs they like, when we listen yo music we often project an identity onto the artist and content like this either confirms or contradicts the projection and people enjoy that proccess.
