Billy Strings, 1st Set From The Rail, Roundhouse, London, 15/11/23

My wife and I travelled to the UK from New York to catch The Roundhouse and Manchester Academy Gigs. Roundhouse is an amazingly beautiful venue and it was a kick ass show. I did think Manchester was a notch or two hotter....but every show Billy does is top notch. Great Pearl Jam cover in the second set of 15/11. I have seen Billy 10+ times in the past year and the energy, musicianship and his charisma never cease to amaze me. He is truly a generational talent. It was great to see all the Goose heads as well in the UK as the two tours coincided.

Billy is the greatest. Watch him rise to the very top. He is a friend on Facebook, mostly because I am a songwriter, poet and author. I just don’t use Lyle because I was attacked and nearly killed. So I hide from fame.

See we Americans can export some rich culture here and there.

Lovely and again with an almost completely different setlist ! What a giants with an infinit repertoire and more than infinit virtuosity 🙂 I saw them last week at De Roma, Antwerp.

To people who were there. How much of the people were locals and not American?

I was there, strange crowd. Do some Americans choose to follow him to every gig on his European tour and protect what they call the 'rail' with their lives?

Gutted to miss this as we were away celebrating our grandsons birthday. Next time he is over, we'll be there for sure and we'll bring our grandson too!

Speaking of the round house Billy’s band kicks . Best show we’ll it’s hands down you gotta give it to the RAMONES. just a bit of a different slice of energy A different place and time It’s all brilliant and a gift to us all
