everytime I go through comments below their videos, sooo many people are saying they've been listening to them for 10+ years. it's amazing how they've kept the same quality but yet matured in their style so well
I never considered it but BT and Weezer have been my 2 faves for years. I've seen both live multiple times. Just listening to those two styles blend together
@@melboily I was going to say lol their styles are so similar they really should do an entire Billy Talent/Weezer double album. It would be phenomenal! The similarities in their styles would make it easy as hell to produce, but the differences in their sounds is what would make is an incredible album
Rivers is a huge fan of Billy talent and green day etc. Basically the pop punk bands that offer something different to the blink/new Found glory/simple plan sounds he's always adored. Weezer even have songs mentioning going to green day gigs. I wasn't surprised in a sence when I learned of this but literally said wow thatakes soo much sence.
@@HimTheHein I just meant whoever was writing the songs, has been on top of it. Not implying they had a writer :) I could have always checked the notes to see who was involved w/ the writing :P
Just seen them live a couple hours ago... They said it was the first concert they've played in 2 years. If they're in your area anytime soon do not pass on that opportunity. The best band I've ever seen live. Love how you dropped this right after playing here, you guys are the best!

i found billy talent through my older brother and then went on to see one of his live shows. i was very lucky and met Ben in person, i accidentally stepped on his toe lmao it was many years ago now though.
Years ago, going through depression I was listening to billy talent, Though a breakup that left me helpless I was listening to billy talent, And even now that Im truly happy and escaped all those troubles I still listen to them, they truly mean a lot to me Keep being awesome guys! You rock!

@@SproutFarms the anti flag version actually came out before BT3 (2008). You are right tho it didn't say feat but instead said "with" anti flag which is unusual
Been my favorite band since I heard the intro to Devil In A Midnight Mass 15 years ago. Still as good as they were then, if not better !..!, Love Rivers and Weezer too.
Same, but nearly half the album is already out - Forgiveness I + II, Reckless Paradise, I Beg to Differ, and this are four of the 10 songs. Probably end up releasing more than half of it by the time it comes out in Jan 2022.

Ever since their debut. Not one bad album. I love Ian style so much and the energy they create. This is such a great progression it's sounds original and fun.

Been a BT fan since 2002 (or so) and have seen these guys play here in the States and in Europe - from a small show at The Glass House in Pomona to huge festivals like Rock en Seine in Paris, Rock im Park in Germany, and a few shows in Switzerland. Can't wait for the new album to drop and so thankful to have new music from Billy Talent to help brighten up a pretty dark time for a lot of us.
Wow guys I guess it's my turn to make the comment. Used to listen to Billy when I was like 10 in 2008 one of the first music I dsicoverd. Not a big rock guy I usually listen to rap and such but damn... Billy Talent just hits different,.
You know the trouble of haning out with a diverse group of friends with different tastes in music? How to figure out what to put on? Usually we end up giving every one their turn to be the DJ for a bit but at some point someone will pick something by Billy Talent - and that's when everyone gets their turn at once.
This was absolutely awesome. Can't wait to hear a live version - ideally one with Rivers to get that three part harmony, but I'm sure Ben and Ian can nail the vocals on their own.
I just love that Billy Talent always stays true to themselves while their songs always have a unique touch. I'm glad I'm your fan. Please do some concerts in Germany again! Not just the festivals, I only want to see you guys rock the stage again :D

Ever since the first time rusted from the rain played on a radio near me in 2009, ive been a fan, seeing so many comments like this one about longtime fans makes me proud to be a fan of Billy talent as well, amazing song, cant wait for the rest of the album

I don't know how they do it but everything I expect of Billy Talent as a whole is always on full display. I know what I'm getting and I'm still never tired of it. A band 100% confident in their sound.
I've been listening to this band for 7 years. Throughout those 7 years my music taste has changed and evolved but this band still remains one of my favourite of all time.... There just so fucking good
I've listened to you guys since my early childhood days (around the second or third album) and I still love everything you put out to this day. I think you might just be my favorite band overall. Like not my favorite band of all time, because that changed many times over the years, but I can always come back to you guys. I think Billy Talent is like home to me for a lack of better words.
Brought my girlfriend Kelsey to the ice berg alley concert seen them sing this for the first time before the release they did an amazing job, tried to get her backstage but they were gone quickly, it was her first concert and her ultimate favourite band. She loves them and hasn't stopped listening to them since the night of the concert.
Been a fan since my older brother made me a mix CD with Try Honesty on it way back in the day. Got my shirt signed at the Edge by Ben in the 6th grade! Every time a new album comes out there is a sound which is new but still somehow distinctly Billy. Ben is an incredible vocalist and an amazing live performer. Ian is probably one of the best guitarists in history and his vocals add such depth to the tunes. Jon is an underrated, very talented bassist (I’m thinking of the opening to This Is How It Goes right now!) and I dunno much about Jordan yet but saw him live and he is great and fits right in with the crew! We miss you Aaron and hope you’re doing well! Keep making amazing music!!! Love from the ‘shwa!

Soooo independently and up until this moment, Weezer and BT were among my top 5 bands- ever. And now, they have collaborated. Currently drinking rum and coke and eating pirogies while listening to this, and it's beautiful. Thank you.
I love this song. I finally paid attention to the lyrics. I had a boyfriend who did that but I ended it before he dragged me down too deep. Before I did that, I set him toward getting some counseling. I couldn't stick around to see if it worked. Since then, I've avoided getting into relationships with people like that. Do I regret some of those decisions, I do a little but I learned to put my own mental health first and make sure I never drag anyone I love down any hole I find myself in. A lot of people may think it's heartless but sometimes those people needed to be cut off before they do permanent harm.

My wife left me several years ago...I carried around a lot of anger and resentment for a long time. We're divorced but we have reconciled to the point we can talk to eachother, but I still have a lot of baggage from the whole scenario. This song has finally helped me come to terms with why she left me, thank you for helping me to gain closure. You guys are amazing
