I had so much fun filming this commercial! Bi-Lo was a great company to work for and I miss these moments.😊 My video spots are located at 24, 39 & 45 frames.
Keep Bi-Lo open! I don't like SEG decision in dropping the bi-lo banner to have better growth with Harveys Fresco Y Mas and Winn Dixie. At least they could of convert Bi-Lo to Winn Dixie. It won't be the same anymore without Bi-Lo. Bi-Lo always double coupons and accept competitor coupons
Can anyone please fill me in because Im having my mind blown. I live in Australia and I started as a night filler at Bilo a long time ago. Bilo was a cheaper choice than its parent company, Coles. Coles then converted all the Bilo's to Coles stores cause Bilo was loosing money. The weird thing here is this advert. Coles had a down down campaign for years that started in 2012 and this Bilo down down is exactly the same. Is there any relation to the Coles supermarkets down down? Can someone let me know cause this is weird to see this. The red hand, the Pos ticketing and even the music is a similar to Coles. If you are not sure please look up Coles down down on youtube, thanks in advance for any replies!
Coles CEO moved "stateside" to run Southeast Grocers, the parent company of Winn-Dixie, Bi-Lo, Harvey's and "Fresco y más" supermarkets here. He convinced them to use the same advertising tactic as when he was at Coles.
Two years later, and this is still the worst grocery store ad ever created...recycled idea by Ian “one trick pony” McCleod and helped contribute to a once good company’s downfall. Down down, indeed.
Art P the company spent money on garbage like this while the stores were under staffed and workers treated like disposable numbers. Millions of dollars were wasted on this promotion. Not to mention the song was played in stores literally every 5 minutes (not an exaggeration).
Art P also, I didn’t mean to offend you if I did. It’s coming up on a year since my store closed and even though I’ve moved on and I’m much better off, I’m admittedly still a little bitter.
@@worthlessidols nah, I'm not offended...everyone is entitled to their opinion I just didn't see the connection between the commercial and poor fiscal responsibility.
