We have a thing called the "No child left behind" policy that makes it very very very difficult to get held back a grade in school. George Bush instituted it so it has been around for a while now. you can basically be a complete fucking retard and still finish high school with very little trouble because it isn't even clear that there is a way to "fail" at this point.
It's crazy that a few months ago I was surprised when I first saw things like this popping up on the internet and my reactions were completely different, now I'm not even surprised. In primary school or if you're from the U.S, elementary, you're supposed to know at least 1 country for every letter in the alphabet besides X. Worst case scenario, I would think people grow up with others from all sorts of different cultural backgrounds or a different heritage and nationality. It's shocking tbh and not even funny anymore, basic mathematics full-grown adults struggle with. My generation is finished, the only reason why I have some hope is, it seems to mainly/only be in the U.S😂
