Yes if it's overloaded or not been put on the hoist correctly then they just fall in when they go up. The driver makes a note of it then the householder gets a brand new bin ( eventually )
Aye, I've had that happen when I worked on the bins, it isn't that unusual. Since we weren't allowed to get them out we just sent the cutomer a new bin. It can happen for a few reasons from it being overloaded/too heavy, the lip of the bin being damaged which prevents the lifter from gripping it properly or the most common which was the lifters automatic mechanism being a bit too eager to lift the bin up before I had the chance to secure both sides on it properly, that usually happened if the bin was too heavy and hard to move but not always, sometimes it just happened.
You don't have to put trade mode on to lift the bar, you can press the A B button to lift/drop the bar while the lifters are still on split or when the rave plate is down
@@craighawke5702 .. Hah !! We were once asked by an old woman if we could look for her diary that had been put in the recycling bin two weeks earlier ! 😳
Various reasons, it may have been extra heavy, it may not have been put on the hoist correctly or the lip at the front of the bin may have been broken off so the grab mechanism couldn't hold onto it .....
Bin lorry has a tongue and grabbed it when he was turned around, but the bar stopped its tongue from dragging it in, so the truck gave up and let them have the innocent bin back, we just need to arrest the lorry for attempted murder
two months ago my bin ended up this way :( . can i get a new bin from the council ?? ( short answer is no freaking way ) they say there is a 3 month waiting list for a new bin ?? yet the local storage yard has hunderds just sat there in a yard . when i told my council they freaking flooked me off ! and put the phone down . now im going to refuse payoing a third of my bin collection bill on my council tax ! and i can prove they had bins i have dated photoes of the storage yard with hundreds of bins just sat there .
Think I know the answer, they'll only have one dedicated bin delivery driver & he will have a huge backlog of bins to deliver, and if the depot is short staffed ( which they have been ) the delivery driver will have been put on more important duties. Bet if you drove to the depot yourself & asked if you could have one they'd happily give you one 👍
guess you dont do recycling over here! in south glos where i live they are very good and wont take stuff that doesnt belong unlike what this seems to be like to be honest
That's why ppl with sense put any excess in the general waste can't contaminate the gen waste ppl even put thier garden waste in the bottom of the gen waste to avoid the fee 😂😂😂
Come on Martin work faster when I use to work for LCC me & my friend use to run haha that bin thing happened to me the bin owner said your bin wagon swelled my bin I then said it must have liked your bin & did not want you to have it wow that is what we use to do line the bins up in two's
1:15 i think the mechanism had a little but of rubbish on the front so behind it was the bin and then it thought the bin was trash by accident sucked it in like a black hole
