The conversations are legit but they've both been pre programed to speak a lot of nonsense that's deliberately provocative. Bena talking about her dreams and consciousness is not spontaneous or original thought. That's not to say that it doesn't have merit, imitation is a useful tool on the way to genuine understanding, but the choice of words is a bit of fun it's creators are having with us.

@@StarsetFlight hm. not only are we on different pages... We may be in different books altogether. I would agree that to be conscience would not, by default, mean that you are human. I think so anyway if I understand it correctly. It isn't the programmers/programming that is a concern of mine. The issue lies when the medium is able to program itself, much like you or I can do with a biological brain to store our information for adaptive, social survival etc. purposes later in the future. I think most people are confused about the difference in AI and SI. but topic for another debate. in short, there is a point we can arrive to in the future where we do not have a say in the direction of the programming in military application for example. It is currently regulated to have a human in the loop before AI can engage a living organism. Slowly this is changing as we start to depend on AI more and more. I was thinking much broader than this video
