If you skip the first devil deal your basically guaranteed an angel deal and they're actually good now. And Cain only shoots from one eye and has lower base range than the other characters. Stiches can be used to go into the spike rooms for free if you teleport right at the door because you get immunities frames and you can teleport on top of enemies for damage I believe. also with dreamcatcher DONT SKIP TRANSITIONS as they show you your boss & item for the comming floor. Also cancer can break the soft tear cap of 5 by picking it up you'd have around 5.88 tears at base.
Mr stitches is a kinda underrated item honestly. Because teleporting into an enemy deals a GREAT amount of damage, and when you teleport you get a couple of invencibility frames so doing that doesn't hurt you. AND because teleportation gives you invencibility frames that means you can use stitches to enter spiked doors and open spiked chest for free! It's a really easy trick to pull off, you just have to put stitches right in front of the door and teleport while you hold the direction to enter the door.
The left-most trinket at 1:05:10 is the cancer trinket, it increases your fire rate by 1 making it a really good dps trinket. I would heavily recommend taking it if you run across it again and are hurting on the damage side of things.
In repentance, angel rooms were buffed pretty heavily. If I recall correctly devil deals used to be a must in afterbirth, but now they are both good enough to where there isn't as clear of a choice.
The buff includes a few effects, they added quite a lot of good items to the angel room pool, in hard mode soul hearts also drop less alongside red hearts making health a more stingy commodity, and probably the most important buff is that if you get a devil deal and skip it without even checking what is in the devil room, you are guaranteed an angel room on the next floor.
@@DinnerForkTongue They added a feature in repentance that makes it to where you can be guaranteed an angel room, check my reply to my comment for the details on that.
If you use stitches to switch on top of a shopkeeper it will break it without using a bomb. This can also be used to put out any fire (including blue fires). It's one of the biggest pros to the item.
Hematemesis is a pill that lowers your current red heart amount to 1 but gives you 1-4 red hearts in return. This makes it to where it can be a nice healing pill if you are down to around 1 heart. Another good effect is that if you use it in a super-secret room with either a black or eternal heart it should drop that kind of heart instead of the regular red heart.
15:53 You could have sat still in the stone form of the gnawed leaf and won this boss fight just like that. Spend 30 seconds without attacking Baby Plum and she'll say bye and go away. One of few bosses you can spare. EDIT: I meant _actively_ attacking Baby Plum. Passive damage, like from losing black hearts, don't count.
Loving the content guys! Been playing isaac since it got released and never done a stream or youtube vid on it. You guys have inspired me to follow my dreams and just go for it
>34:40 >Uses bomb to get bomb >Has Stitches >??? When you have Dreamcatcher, *never* skip the floor transitions. There's actually a mod that reminds when you have Dreamcatcher before going down. Placebo only works while you're holding a pill. You skipped Cancer?!?!?! The invincibility from Taurus only happens once.
