My brain was breaking last night when trying to learn the latch tool bind off, but the transfer tool bind off worked great my first try! i will learn the latch tool bind off next, but i'm glad i have a way to bind off for the time being. thanks!
Just wow! As many times as I've seen that bind off from afar, I did not know or understand about the placement of the yarn around the gate pegs. Now it makes sense! Thank You!
Thanks for this video! You've just taught a man on the other side of the world to cast off! Took a few attempts, but once the rhythm is understood it gets faster 😊
Great explanation for both techniques. I like that you stay on track with the task and also that you show the movements that help accomplish the task. Thank you so much.
I'm new to machine knitting and binding off proved really tricky, especially with a smaller guage. Thanks Helen I got there in the end with your preffered second method which I really like now - I'm just terrified of dropping stitches. That's the next thing to master.
That's such a good way of getting an even cast off. Mine have always been just left to hang and as a result I've never or rarely left any neck edge single, because they are never even enough to be on show. Gonna give these a go!
Thanks for this video. You help me your cast on video's. I was looking forward to the binding off. I am going to make use of this. I have watched many knitting machine video's. You bring small details that shows years of experience. Thank you for sharing it with all.
amazing! I can't wait to try the second one. I had no idea that you can just hook the latch tool and pull it through like that, and using the gate pegs to keep it event. Thanks for the tips!
Wow, I absolutely love this way of binding off behind the gate peg....THANK YOU so much this was extremely helpful. Your instruction is so appreciated. I am so looking forward to more of your tutorials.
Hello, thank you very much for your good quality videos. I would like that you can show us how to make a 2 by 1 cast on on the ribber, with the right set up of racking position and how it becomes very professional. I have a brother kh 940. Thank you
just want to make sure i am doing it right, so when you push the tool thru the loop to the back side of the pegs, there is only one loop or two loops on the hook until i grab the thread and pull that thru to complete the cast off? thanks!
My bind off always has a tighter tension than my e-wrap cast on, especially when using a loose tension. Even with an extra stitch between one end is tight and the other has give. Do you know how to do a cast off that will match the cast on?
Dear Hellen. I’m your subscriber. Would you please give me the advice on where can I find some helpful info on how to setup the new Singer 560 knitting machine with the Ribber. Can not find anything on RU-vid or Google. Don’t have any dealers in my area. Thank you for your time and experience and expertise. Sincerely, Jenny.
