I've never seen anyone use Elmer's and hot set it. What a wonderful idea.Im going to have to try that. I use that quilt glue and it isnt cheap. Hey have you ever thought of doing a sashiko quilt? You could even use your machine and you put filament as thread and tighten up your tension and it will make it look like sashiko. I do mine by hand as it relaxes me and I have plenty of time at night since I lost my darling husband and soulmate.
