There's a film in Netflix called hypnotic (No spoilers but I highly recommend it) but it reminded me a bit of what Oussama said. The whole industry can be fooling us for beneficial reasons but also as the film shows in each field there is good and bad and that includes psychiatrists some are using their position to gain from the patients and others are just there to help. Mental health issues might be overrated ( we used as an excuse to explain ourselves) but it's also real problem that needs treatment ( treatment can be going for a run or trying to be productive [ it depends on the severity of your issues ] ). What I want to say is take your mental health seriously and if needed go to a psychiatrist there's no shame in that.
