I think the real test is not the wish bus; try watching their live performance in "It's Showtime." That's the real test; they are dancing while singing, and see for yourself how good they are. I recommend "karera," "pantropiko," "lagi," and the latest "salamin salamin." Actually, they are so professional they can adjust their position on the spot. If I remember correctly, they have a 360-degree rotation while performing pantropiko. That's the moment I say to myself, they are different than other groups.
Just a fun fact. They included sign language in their choreo (on the chorus part, "Life is not a race."), which makes the song and its message more inclusive!

Yay, welcome to more PPop! To me, SB19, Alamat and BINI form the holy trinity of PPop at the moment lol. No shade to other PPop groups, but they're the ones with the most extensive catalog of songs and have the highest following. If you've seen the MV for Alamat's Maharani, you've already seen their leader Jhoanna, who played a prominent role in the video. BINI (pronounced like "beanie") is short for "binibini", which means young woman in Tagalog. Most of their songs are more of the upbeat bubblegum pop style, but they've got substance to their songs. Thanks for the reaction! They just came out with their new EP and with it a new MV called Salamin, Salamin (which translates to Mirror, Mirror). You should watch the dance practice for Karera the M/V does not even show half of the performance in dance. BINI is known as the queens of synchronicity. I got to learn this song when Bini did a tiktok video of this song Karera with SB19 members especially Stell, it seemed he really enjoyed dancing with them.... since then I get to like it. I actually added it to my playlist together with Pantropiko😊❤

Love your reaction to Bini and Karera, for me Aiah (the first to sing the outro) capture my heart, her soft tone voice can really be impactful. Her singing that solo rather than duo was like a breath of fresh air 😊

You're right about the full voices. Filipinos have always been amazing singers and they articulate english words very well so putting them in the boy/girl group genre is almost unfair as traditionally this music genre doesn't have a focus on vocals and usually not its strength in the same way that other genres of music do so the boy/girl groups from this country will instantly stand out.
Love this song a lot bec it saved me when I was feeling stagnant and alone. It felt like time was moving too fast and that I was getting left behind by everyone else but this song was a great reassurance that everything would be alright. Fave song by bini! The difference of PPOP is they show their full potential, whether on performance or engaging on creating their songs and not hiding & making only one or two to shine. And yes that’s how you handle a large group using every voice to do harmonies.

I don't know the history behind the name BINI, but my initial thought was that they took it from the word "binibini" which literally means "miss (Ms.)". It's a tagalog word that refers to a young lady.
