I get that their latest single has to be promoted but this was a BIG chance to perform their biggest Filipino hit, Pantropiko!! Take Kpop groups for example. They try to gain popularity in Western countries by releasing English tracks, but these people LOVE and prefer songs that aren't in their native language...
the entire point of an opening stage is for the artist to get the crowd hype and ready for the amazing night. Pantropiko is a hit, but it is not a song where you get crazy or hype up to. Atleast not at first listen. Cherry on Top is their best bet.
ngl I still think they did a good choice performing their latest single. From what I see, the reason why the people prefer songs that aren't their native language *FROM KPOP GROUPS* is because of their heavy Korean pronunciation when speaking/singing in English. Bini, on the other hand, had a very clear english pronunciation due to it being one of their country's main languages. So their tongue in speaking/singing in English is more natural and non-bothering to the ears. (not to say kpop groups' are bothering, but you can't just help but notice them upon listening since it can't be helped that it is not their main language)

IMO, best opening nila talaga is COT then alternative is yung strings. Since COT is their lastest single and fast beat sya kaya yung pinerform nila at para ma promote din nila ung song. Yung strings maganda opening kasi powerful yung theme tapos maganda sya lalo pag live band kaso naffeel ko di nila mapeperform dahil may vital parts doon si Jhoanna na sya lng di makukumpleto yung song na wala sya. Pero if may 2nd song sila na iperform, doon maganda yung pantropiko o salamin dahil na hype na yung crowd tapos pwede na maki vibe yung audience sa kanila dahil mejo mid tempo yung mga songs na yun.
If 4th impact did their own original songs in their peak, this would be how they sounded. Anyway should wish Colette didn't restrain and joined Maloi in battle for runs.
The girl in center is Sheena! The girl you noticed on the last vid too. She really shines here on the dance practice cause she’s the main dancer of the group. Karera indeed might probably be the best songs of BINI, but there’s also a solid contender which is Lagi - another BINI song. You should definitely check that one out specially the Dance and Vocal Practice where they pulled off an NMIXX move, singing live while dancing.
I bet BINI's Grand BINIVerse stage was inspired from this. This is a very smart move since they can cater much more audience than the usual stage or venue lay-out.
They are definitely singing LIVE with 100% Mic. Compare their performance to others and you will notice others who are lipsyncing and those less than, not 100% Mic.

Not a fan, sana kinanta nila ung sumikat nilang kanta sa tiktok ung pantropiko. Kasi mas catchy yun. Such a waste of chance. Kasi kung sakaling marinig ng ibang kano un maisip nila na familiar ung song. Tsaka parang ang iilit ng voice nila sa kanta na yan, parang ipit. Dun sa pantropiko fresh lang.
That crowd is defo the most boring crowd I've ever seen. This just proves that no matter how talented your group is, if you're not Korean, you will have a hard time impressing the Kpop Stans.
The event is KCON so naturally it's KPOP stans are their but atleast the crowd supports who is on the stage.... and BINI should be thankful with every opportunity that's how BTS rise globally. before on their first BBMAs they are seated far from stage and no performance at all but when they are given the opportunity to perform... they give it all
