I guess why they have english in their songs is representative of how Filipinos usually speak to each other. Even speaking in our native language we tend to mix in english phrases or words in our sentences. Our school curriculum has english and most legal documentation and stuff like that here are in english so it's basically nothing special in that context xD English is basically part of our everyday language, it's one of the reasons foreign visitors love travelling here, cause people can understand and speak english xD
Love it haha. As someone who’s been around many Filipinos, esp when I was younger, I picked that up & thought it was so nice! I definitely CAN’T wait to visit one day, I’ve enjoyed so much Filipino culture being here in NYC & it being the boiling pot of the world, but I want to go there and experience it traditionally & for my own eyes 🥹 Thank you for letting me know 🩷
12:50 OMG i LITERALLY HAVE THE SAME REACTION! Bini became so popular because of Pantropiko but as i binge through all of their songs, its really KARERA that stood out for me, ITS JUST SO GOOD!!! and the dance practice video, ughhh perfect!😭
karera is really their hits. 4months ago pantropiko only has 5m+ views, karera has 7m+ views. salamin salamin has 1m+ views, based on the views. but pantropiko is tiktok and cover friendly, easy choreo and the vibes is really tropical/summer vibes.
HAHAH it’s just TOO GOOD FROM THE VERY FIRST LISTEN!!! I’m so glad u also feel the same way that Karera stood out the most even tho Pantropiko is the popular song, we love her but Karera is sooo DIFFERENT! 😍💕
They were all born in the Philippines. Mikha and Aiah (the ones singing in English a lot), although they speak Tagalog, English is more comfortable for them because of how and what region they were raised. All members can speak English, so I don’t think they specifically choose who sings in English, maybe more about their individual voice sounds. Please react to their dance practice videos and wish bus performances also. And since you love Karera, you MUST watch the dance practice for it! Thank you for reacting to Bini!
Thank you so much my friend 😊🩷 I appreciate you telling me all the info, thank you! New vid is up btw!! Will def be watching the dance practices in the upcoming, thanks for recommending 🙏🏻
The ending of I Feel Good is connected to the opening of Strings. The ending of Strings is connected to the opening of Karera. The ending of Karera os connected to the opening of Salamin, Salamin. The ending of Salamin, Salamin is connected to the opening of Cherry On Top. Their 5 last music videos is basically the biniverse
Oooo got you!!! Just checked out Strings / I feel Good / Lagi soon, vid to them coming in a moment 🤩 Totally get what you meant by the connections now after watching them, I love it so much!!!
You were correct on Cherry on top connection with Salamin salamin as karera connects with salamin salamin then born to win with karera. I feel good - strings.
Ooo, thank you fire! 😊 🔥 that’s really cool. I can’t wait to check the other 2 as well as a bunch of their other content too!! will be spreading reactions for them throughout the days so it falls in line with my regular posting schedule for my other groups too! this has been a really cool experience & it’s one of the top moments on my channel, it feels like it’s been a BINI party for 3 days now!! 🤩
They performed Karera live in China, dancing and singing with mics all on. The TV show is called Show It All. They also performed Pantropiko and I Feel Good there, but Karera was soooo good. Apart from these, some of the famous videos to react to are the "Lagi" Dance & Vocal practice (just one camera, no effects, no backing vocals, all live singing while dancing). So you should watch that after watching the Lagi MV. Also their Wish Bus performances for "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi" (Let's not go home yet) and "Strings" (which is mostly sung in English!) are some of their best. Hope you also check out the music videos where they make an appearance, like BINI Jhoanna starred in the ALAMAT music video for "Maharani" (Great Queen)
Thankkk you thank you THANK you for all the info, queen 🙏🏻🩷 Just reacted & posted video for Lagi / Strings / I Feel Good! I’m excited to check out everything else that you sent as well, thanks so much for being so helpful & kind 😊
The fact that u watched it in backward I mean coz BINI's MVs are connected so u should watch Karera first coz the butterflies at the ending when they faded away are clue for next mv Salamin Salamin where they incorporated butterflies there, at the end of Salamin Salamin as u mentioned it is the Cherry On Top sneak peek... I really appreciate ur reaction for our BINI thnk u❤❤❤
😂😂😂😂 oops!!! Haha my bad!! Thank you so so much for watching, glad you enjoyed love 🙏🏻 Also just reacted to Lagi / I Feel Good / Strings if you’d like to check it out !
English is one of the official languages of the country. But in Bini, it's always Mikha and Aiah getting the english parts as they're the most fluent in this, Aiah in particular is not a fluent Tagalog speaker since she's from Cebu, a part of the country that speaks in Bisaya as their first language, Cebuanos in particular have the best "english accents"
THANK 💞 YOU! I really appreciate this comment because I knew Filipinos speak English / have it as an official language, I was just wondering why Mikha and Aiah SPECIFICALLY got the English lines! Was waiting for a comment like this that explains regional differences & all, thank you so much! 🥹
Sorry but nope, Cebuano is Cebu language not bisaya, bisaya is Mindanao language but almost same in Cebuano though 😌 but still different. I'm half Cebuano and half Waray.
I've read through comments under Karera MV and dance practice, and majority of the blooms said its their favorite song actually of Bini. and i totally understand them cause i also feel that way hahaha its just so dreamy, so peaceful, with just the right amount of beat, and so fulfilling i cannot explain it, ITS JUST PERFECTION!
A lot of Blooms also say that Karera is the song that saved them. Whenever BINI performs Karera live, it usually gets the loudest cheers and people sing along to every word. It’s not uncommon to see people tearing up while they sing along because of how emotionally connected they are to this beautiful song.
That is so heartwarming to hear honestly, I’m so glad it touches so many peoples’ hearts!!! 💕😭💞 & I totally agree with your description of it, EXACTLY! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Glad we’re on the same page angel, it really DOES hit different! ☺️🤍 & thank you so much, I appreciate your kind words :’) Lagi / I feel Good / Strings reaction coming in a bit !!
The choreography on Salamin Salamin was totally fantastic. They have incorporated sign language. Honestly, I don’t listen to this type of genre, but I was totally floored! I love the harmonies. FYI, if you visit the Philippines, the best time is from November- April during dry season. Nightlife in Manila then hit the islands. We Filipinos love to eat, drink, sing and dance! You’re going to have a blast!
Sign language?! That’s so beautiful, I can’t wait to watch 🥰! Also oh wow thanks for letting me know, I will 100% keep that in mind!!! 🤩 🇵🇭💕 Looking forward to when the time comes, I’ll definitely be documenting the whole trip!! 💖
Of course!!! thank you angel! welcome 💕 I had such a great first experience these last 2 days with them 🩷 excited to check out more 🥰🤩 also i see everyone using 🤙🏻 can you explain its significance to bini for me?! 🥹💖
@@BlazikevReacts Yes sure, "Eyyyy 🤙🏼" is a signature expression used by BINI. It encapsulates their playful and energetic vibe, serving as a rallying call or catchphrase that fans and the members themselves use to show enthusiasm and solidarity. This expression helps to create a sense of community and identity among BINI and their supporters. "Eyyyy 🤙🏼" can be likened to "slayyy" in terms of conveying excitement, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. Just as "slay" is used to celebrate someone's success or impressive performance, "eyyyy 🤙🏼" serves a similar purpose for BINI and their fans, signifying that something is cool, impressive, or worth celebrating. So, "slayyable" to "eyyyable" makes sense in this context.
BINI REACTOR CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE Choreo: "Karera", "Salamin, Salamin", "Da Coconut Nut" Recommended to watch the dance practice. DCN is their pre-debut. Vocals: "Lagi", "Na Na Na", "Strings", "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi", "Golden Arrow" Lagi dance and vocal practice is an essential watch, Na Na Na has dance with acapella practice, Strings has One Music performance, HMTU has Rappler live jam performance and Golden Arrow has Wish bus performance. Who's who: "I Feel Good", "Lagi", "Strings", "Born To Win", "Na Na Na" Have introductions of every member (brief flashes in IFG, conference call in Lagi, Strings pre-outro, end of BTW and Na Na Na), IFG-Strings is the recommended watch order if you care about continuity, watch the Rappler live jam performance of IFG if you care about vocal showcase. I'm tired of bubblegum pop: "Bata, Kaya Mo!", "Strings", "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi", "8", see English section I would argue that BKM! is better than Strings, it has a dark and serious vibe that you won't hear and see anywhere else in their discography. HMTU and 8 are ballads. BINI debuted with girl crush concept so you may want to check their earlier songs like the English ones below. English: "Golden Arrow", "Here With You", "No Fear", ""Born To Win" Golden Arrow has their best rap section, HWY is a ballad I want more bubblegum pop: "Kapit Lang", "Na Na Na", "Da Coconut Nut" Ironically BINI's "cutest" bubblegum pop songs are the first ones. Kapit Lang is straightforward and has the best MV of the three, I personally enjoyed Na Na Na MV but it's amateurish so it may be not for everybody. I want more BINI: okay ru-vid.com/group/PLwqjRYD9XRFom_9j-cjVRsZE-OGx8N3dI Artist and brand collabs, Coke Studio performances, and music videos not mentioned above.
Unintentional or Not! I Feel Good to Cherry on Top is connected. That's why Cherry on Top ending has no hint for the next MV because they ended the SAGA
Yeah that's the hottest girl group in my country, we already got two popular ppop groups here as of now (speaking of trending song and international reach), i just hope our government invests in our music industry and one day able to compete with kpop
Greg!!!!!! I didn’t know you were from the Philippines !! ☺️ They’re so amazing, I’m so happy to know that you have a connection to them! I really hope the same as well, I’ve been around Filipinos my whole life bc of where I live so I just KNOW the talent & passion running through your veins 😭🤩🩷 Wishing the absolute best for the girls!!! + all current/future Ppop idols!
Omg I just realized in this video (after listening to Karera for like a 100+ times) that just before the transition to "Minsan ay nalilimutang huminga sandali" at 13:07, there's a rushing AHHHH sound, like when you take a deep breath and then breathe out. Karera is a masterpiece
karera is top favorite!! pantropiko and salamin, salamin have their own groove and are beautiful in their own merit, but they are more catchy and dance craze that they caught more attention in all media esp tiktok
Wow.That was quick. Now do Reaction video on their old english songs Strings, I feel Good and Born to Win or do reaction videos on the dance practices of Karera, Pantropiko and Salamin Salamin. ❤❤ All of them were born in the Philippines and all of them can speak fluent english but Mikha with the red hair is comfortable speaking in english than tagalog and this is the reason why most of her lines are in english.
Haha, thank you for recommending them to me Pong! It was your comment first that led me to making this 🩷 New reaction coming out very soon! Stay tuned 🤩
@@BlazikevReacts You just uploaded this 2 days ang it is now your top 4 most viewed video. I'm so happy you reacted to it. Now watcha the Karen Davila Bini Interview, they talk about the hardships these girls went through and their humble beginnings. Can't wait for you to react to it. :)
They're all Filipino! English is our second official language. A lot of these girls are trilingual (English, Tagalog, and their regional language). I think onlyyyy Mikha, Jhoanna, and Maloi are bilingual (English & Tagalog) because they grew up in a Tagalog-speaking region.
We're totally the same, I also really got attached to 'Karera' mostly bcuz of its meaning. Bro if only you knew tagalog, the beat, vocals and dance are all very good but the meaning is just very relatable and encouraging ❤
Hahah very happy to know we feel the same way man! ☺️ I can only imagine how much emotion you feel knowing the lyrics directly!! Even as a non-speaker, I can just FEEL the emotion directly from the words 🥹🩷
its' cause english is a national language along with filipino. so you learn english in your courses. classes will be conducted in english. anything legal, business documents are written all in english... of course acccents change depending on your social class 😂
@@alfonseelric4775 YES! it was a trap. Since you got me on the national language i wanted to catch you in something else lol. If anyone said it was a dialect i'd say A DIALECT OF WHICH LANGUAGE?? Austornesian mother tongue? 🤣🤣 So Malay and other austoronesian languages should be dialects too right?? 😛😛have a good day!
I lovee love the reaction and just you vibing to the mv! Just a suggestion for your future reaction videos, try to decrease the volume of the song so your voice will be easier to hear hehe 💗
Ahh thank u so so much angel! ❣️ ur pic is so cute btw AHH !! & also will do!! thanks so much for suggesting! i’ve had quite a few ppl tell me this lately so i’m even thinking of buying a lil mic as well ! thanks so much for being so kind 🫶🏻💗
haha to be fair & give myself some credit, I did say tropical island at first & then corrected myself to tropical at the end because I realized the word was being used alone and the subtitle came up only as tropical!! either way i can see why non-native speakers might get it wrong!!
So RE: English, while yes English is spoken almost everywhere in the Philippines, some grasp it more than others. A lot of it has to do with like social status; the upper-middle class tend to speak English more naturally because they're exposed to more English media, i.e. Cable TV, Streaming, stuff like that. People who grew up watching English TV tend to speak English more naturally as they would think in English as opposed to thinking in a Filipino Language (of which there are many), and then translating the thought into English. Out of the girls, Aiah and Mikha speak English more naturally because they were well-off, that's why they're given the English lines more. Mikha actually gets teased a lot for not knowing Tagalog that well. Honestly, everyone in the group understands and speaks English just fine, although you might notice an accent here and there.
Also, bonus trivia, if you'd care for it: there are many languages in the Philippines, and not everyone learns more than one, so sometimes people from different places could even communicate better in English because that's the language they have in common. Aiah and Colet actually have different native languages (Bisaya) from everyone else's, and they had to learn Tagalog (or at least learn it better), the Capital's language, when they moved to Manila for the network's project. So the two of them actually speak 3 Languages, which is not at all uncommon.
Thanks so much my friend :) ! Sorry for a bit of the late reply, lots of comments but I always wanna make sure to get to everyone. I really appreciate allllll the background! Hahahah @ Mikha getting teased for not knowing Tagalog that well 🤣 Why can I imagine that perfectly?! hahaha
Thank you!!! I do care :) & you guys have been very extremely helpful & kind, I hope others who watch this vid as well come across the comments to see all the details, I’m very grateful 🙏🏻
Yes, Salamin Salamin is before Cherry on Top while Karera is before Salamin. And there's more MVs before Karera (in reverse order): Strings, I Feel Good, Golden Arrow, Born to Win, etc. They're all connected. That's not even half of it. Enjoy!
I loooove when artists do that with their music videos!!! The connections are so cool & make the comebacks even more exciting :) Looking forward to checking more BINI out💖
BINI has 24 plus songs. Most of theve have no MVs. They are live performances, lyrics video, wishbus video, and endorsements videos. Thank you for experiencing P-Pop.
Oh wow that’s not a bad amount of songs for how long they’ve been active for! Got you, I wish for more MVs for them in the future + larger scale projects, but I can already see they’re going down that path ! 🩷☺️ thanks for watching Yuki!
I absolutely love your reaction videos! Could you please react to BINI's "Karera" performance at Star Magic? It's an amazing performance, and I think you'll really enjoy their energy and talent. Looking forward to your reaction! Thanks a lot!

I wonder why Karera resounds so much to non-Filipinos? Maybe the message wrapped in an absolutely beautiful song? But yeah it’s one of my favorites too.
I wonder why too! For myself personally, it just feels so mystical & hopeful… like it has such a good mix of mysteriousness but also brightness but then the chorus comes in & it’s like BOOM a happy ending 🩷

Hey! I actually just screen record videos directly from my phone, & then watch them on my laptop, while recording from my phone, if that makes sense. So as I record my videos, I’m basically always using 1) My phone (to record) & 2) My laptop (to watch said video) 😊
