Fun fact: Bink's Sake was written by Oda himself. Not only can he write a beautiful story but he can also compose beautiful song/sea shanty!

Bink’s sake is composed by a famous composer, Tanaka Kouhei, and Oda wrote the lyrics, it’s been written before Oda started the One Piece, that’s why we called Oda is a genius.

50yrs!! imagine! 50 yrs, alone, and most likely lonely too, with his friends dead bodies, and the ship full of memories.. you may not be fully understand his suffering but you probably can imagine having lonely in a day or two, now make that a year and 50 at that.. with no one to talk to, no entertainment on board, just a recorder that records his dying friends singing.. no wonder he's so happy meeting luffy.. he's already skeleton when he got to thriller bark but, who would be happy if your shadow, and your ability to walk on sunlight, would get rob to you

There are many theories about the importance of the song. Oda wrote it himself, which makes it even more touching. It’s without a doubt an invaluable piece in the story.

Brook was pretty much the vice captain, someone who could bear reponsabilities in the rumbar crew, but after so much time of isolation he has one foot on insanity, and became this quirky fella we know now.

It's robin for me, cuz she had no choice to live the way she lived before. At an early age, she loose her love ones, became an orphan, accused of a crime, and suffer for over 20 years nobody can trust to or rely on.

Bink's brew is not just about sailors` or pirates` lives. It's life itself. We all desperately wish we could spend eternity with our loves ones and friends. But we all need to part ways and sometimes you find yourself living longer than everyone else and is the only one still playing the piano. But that is the true meaning of the journey called life. The best thing we can do is live each day to the fullest knowing that we need to cherish as many people around us.

Out of robins and brooks backstory, brooks takes the cake out of both of them. Both were dealt with a bad straw but going through what brook did and still be happy afterwards takes some serious willpower.

Truly the most painful backstory in the entire show. We are talking about a man that lost EVERYTHING…..including his life, revived and spent 50 years in solitude among his dead brethren. It’s incredible that a promise was all he had left to keep his sanity intact. P.S. Quite a scary thumbnail….. Brook in tears while they are laughing 😅

Brooke suffers from a lot of survivors guilt. Its something that happens to people who survive incidents where many others have died, they begin to question if they should have lived and begin to devalue their own lives. Having watched his crew die and drifting through the sea for 50 years Brooke was slowly driven insane by his lonliness. Only after Luffy and the Strawhats accept him without question and talk about how they met Laboon does he break down and express his joy for being alive. Brooke just needed something to live for and Luffy gave it to him.

How does the revive-Fruit work? Wouldnt he just have died again, after getting revived, because he was still poisoned? Or does that fruit restore and heal ur body? So the 1 year delay might have saved his revived life...
