So if I got it right I need to let the biochar sit in something filled with nutrition and minerals and what not, then activate it and then put it down on my garden.... originally was thinking about putting it in my compost pile but, in theory, wouldn't this kinda Rob the compost pile of it's nutrients??? Also, side note question....how do you keep your food forest from being thrashed by your chickens🤔🤔🤔???
I heard from a researcher in Bangalore that you lose alot of nitrogen from biochar soaked in urine because both are alkaline in nature. I wonder how severe it is. He was using sulfuric acid to neutralize the alkalinity, and reportedly preserve the nitrogen in the biochar.
Felt bad for the chicken who didn't get a berry. Please let us see that she does actually get her fair share....perhaps you could distract the others by throwing berries one way and then giving her a whole load for herself...?
do you think that if you over fertilized your garden you can put un -activated bio char on it to draw up the nutrients or it may be able to use to fix ph problems
Hey i have biochar brewing in compost tea with a drop of fulvic acid and 78 ionic minerals, getting ready to transplant my cannabis girls. Do i dry it first before applying to soil mix or leave it as a wet sludge?
