OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally i found a good biology revision channel just wanted to say you have great videos not too long not too short just the thing i need to refresh everything for exam in 2 days lool New Subscriber
I cant express how helpful these videos have been thank you so much. Your one of the few people that does their videos based on the OCR scheme and you really showed up in a time of need. I just finished my exam today and these videos really helped refresh my mind, thanks Tom.
These videos have been a life saver you can explain stuff so clearly and I'm so pleased you do chemistry as well .. Thank you and I hope you do some A2 for next year :)
This is very helpful, thanks! :) I find this revision so boring but watching a video rather than reading the same thing over again makes it bearable haha! Good luck :D
i'm glad I helped :) yeh i'm pretty nervous about this exam too, sadly however much you revise you can always lose marks for not applying it or leaving out one key word :/
Wow thats impressive- i got a D but our school got about half the years papers back and found out the marking has been really poor so there might be a re-mark
yeh the marking has been terrible, i'm getting my physics remarked because we got it back and there were answers that had just been marked wrong for no reason, i wrote the answer 5.11 and the mark scheme said 5.1 allow 5.11 :P i'm like right... whats going on here, good luck in ur remark :)
Could you please make a video on Natural selection, variation, adaptation and speciation(basically evolution) . My teachers have missed it off and we only have one more lesson. Thank you
Since this video is getting a lot of comments (yay) I thought I would ask here :) By the looks of things I will get my 10,000 view on sunday :O and I'm going to do a 10,000 view special video tomorrow :) (silly but i want to :P ) anyone got anything they would like on a special vid :) no science of course :P (I'm asking this on a view videos as i really want to know :P )
Thank you for this video. My exam is 2 weeks away.. and I'm nervous because my teacher really, really sucked at teaching this xD this video helped a lot!!
Your voice really doesn't sound like you're well doing As! Don't worry I mean it in a good way, ah F211 did not go well last week so considering this is 50% hopefully can pull everything up
u havent explained how to sample plants. using frame quadrat and measuring abioticc factors. can u email me plz , because i will have an exam on it soon. thanks for the videos, they r all helpful, i will advertise u in skls XD
im actually on 201 :D youtube updates quicker for the account owner :D i'm also on like 5600 views but youtube is saying a lot less for you guys :P WOO!
+Adaam Ahmad If you're bored don't watch the videos then. They are detailed, they go through everything you need to know in a concise way. I don't see how making the videos even longer will make you less bored...
Hi if I were to just revise f212 from your videos, then would this be fine to get an A? I feel as though the textbook is too rambly and not specific to the exam like these videos are!! I'm retaking f212 this year - 3 marks off an A 😢
+paris s What haha, I think the book is biology great :P I mean there are loads of parts where they waffle a lot, but at least everything from the specification gets covered (just skip the parts that drag on). Imo the ocr student book, cgp student book and his videos are all you need to get an A*/A (with loads of past papers ofc). Also I'm pretty sure Tom said he uses the ocr student book (and also the cgp student book) to help make these videos. Good luck.
+paris s What EpicEditsBySaz said. I wouldn't say that my videos are enough to get an A on their own...you have to use it with other books but I think my videos are good for revision as a nice review of the whole topic without all the waffle.
I'd personally focus on the A2 exams as the extra effort to revise for F212 is likely to produce not too many more marks and could result in less marks being gained in the A2 modules.
Sam Crossley I'm from the South East of England and it is a very common accent here. I don't know what intellectual abilities you think I have based on my tone :P
