16 months ago I had a partially hamstring rupture, right leg interior hamstring pelvis bone area. I am feeling almost normal, now. Sometimes, it still feels like I'm sitting on a golf ball. MAIN ISSUE, NOW: the muscle that goes across the front of the right hip joint still hurts when I walk. During my home PT exercise, last year, I was feeling so good, I over did an exercise and I hurt it, still hurts. When I walk - it or something, catches and hurts very much, I hear it pop, and I yelp. It feels off - like my leg and hip catches - don't know how else to explain it, None of my PTs can figure out why it still hurts. I go to my chiropractor every week, (sometimes twice, as needed). I've been watching you and other PTs. Still no relief. I've been doing the exercises you show in this video and the video you put out just before this one, as well as others you show. The one where you put your leg in the 4 position and rotate to the other side is a new one for me. But, I have started doing the leg over in a different form. It feels good, now. Not in the beginning, obviously. I wear a Back Support Belt for my Spinal Stenosis. And, SI Belt for my very loose feeling SI joints - it really helps me walk longer distances and work around the house. I use a walker as needed. On August 16, I'm getting a steroid shot in my lower back. This will help me get back into exercise and walking again. Not sure if these are all related, or I got over zealous with that one exercise. But, I would think it would have healed by now. Thank you for your help!

Hi Cheryl. I too have spinal stenosis, and my doctor said it’s enough to cause severe sciatica pain. I also wear the back support belt, but I don’t do it constant enough to notice a difference, so I will have to be more diligent about wearing it for several hours a day. I had a shot two years ago. One in my hip and one in my back for sciatica. It was laser guided, and it worked great for two months. Then I worked in my garden and boom. All the pain came back and never went away. so recently, I went to orthopedic sports medicine doctor, and he said about the only thing I could do was have another shot. I am in such severe pain now I cannot lay on my sides at all, and barely on my back. The pain is just excruciating. I hope the shot helps you. Maybe you could let us know. I’m doing all these exercises as well and hope eventually it will help. I’ve cut my morning walks short and cannot go up any small hills. It is so frustrating.
