James Mangold, Danny is such a badass. I believe his one of the most underrated metal drummers out there. He doesn't get nearly the love he deserves.

the bass beat is different on the fast part .. it's well played with the arms ( even if there is some miss about some little fill on the double bass part ) but not at all with the foot work , anyway nice job .

@miperr3987 Ok you can say what you want about the cymbals. I never said they don't suck in tonal quality I simply said that they fit what he plays well. I have two major issues with what you said. First off, why tell someone that their cymbals suck? All that implies is that due to their lack of money they should not post videos or even play the instrument. Why would you say that to someone?

Hey, if this is the way he plays I am not knocking him, but I dont feel he has a lot of skills when playing other stuff, thats all. However, it isnt my cup of tea and thats it....later dude....

@miperr3987 You seem very uneducated. The cymbals that he uses are simply very trashy; it fits what he plays well. Also, you say that he plays with nothing but high driving energy. Listen to the music; that is the exact feeling that it brings. I know that you aren't trying to hate but that's honestly what it sounds like to me. I found it unnecessary to post that comment.

Also, you claim that a "good" drummer has to have the ability to show finesse. I disagree with that to an extent. Although finesse shows maturity as a player, finesse is an attribute that is only useful in certain styles of music. A "good" drummer does what the music calls for, and this music does not call for finesse.. You seem as if you have not watched any other videos from this guy. How can you judge a drummer's entire repertoire based on one performance?

@XxStrongDrums1996xX Well, when it comes to education, your response seems to lack a lot of wisdom. The cymbals might fit what he plays but they suck in tonal quality...btw, I am not trying to hate, but it was my observation and I have that right to express it. To become a good drummer, one has to have the ability to have finesse when drumming and this guy lacks it or just doesnt want to show it...to me, I lose respect when I cant see the full range of a drummer. Your sound is not very good...the cymbals have no tone...like hitting trash can lids. Your playing seems to be nothing but hard and heavy...do you have the capacity of playing with more finesse? I understand every drummer has their own style, but you play with nothing but high-driving insane energy...almost anger. I bet you go through a lot of sticks and cymbals. Good luck. Mike
