And this weekly compilation video, I discuss the difference between bioidentical and synthetic hormone therapy, as well as go over the data discussing if there is, in fact, any extra safety in using bioidentical HT.
Progesterone taking orally makes me have headaches, I know it is the progesterone that causes it because I take it for 10 days and I have headaches those 10 days, would it be safe to have it vaginally to protect my uterus instead or orally?
I have a question. Can you take estrogen patches if you have high LDL levels (164)? I’ve read that it helps actually. But being told estrogen can cause heart attack. I’m so confused..
A lot of it depends on how far from menopause you are. For people who are less than 10 years out of menopause, the estrogen can actually be beneficial for heart health. For people more than 10 years post menopausal you can see an increase in the rate of cardiovascular disease. The transdermal estradiol patch has a lower rate than oral estradiol, So that is something to consider as well.
@@dr.coreybabb7297 Thank you so much for this. I am 39 and started showing signs of peri-menopause about 2 years after I had a partial hysterectomy. I have my ovaries. I just recently thought all of my symptoms were hormone related.. I was put on the pellets and I felt myself again. Now they are gone the new doctor said I can’t be on any HRT. Anywho, that’s my history. Lol. I’m tempted to just apply the patched and pray for the best. Thank you again ..
