Hi Everyone! There is a correction in the video. The Cu-Cu distance in deoxyhemocyanin is 354pm and it is 360pm in oxyhemocyanin. Reference: Inorganic Chemistry by Housecroft

Also in this video it has been told that deoxy form of hemocyanin is less strained but Jyoti ma'am told that oxy form is less strained as addition of oxygen tilts the bond!So please clarify!

@@faizaali7596 please correct this...if bond length is less it will create a strain. So, deoxyhemocyanin is strained form..and oxyhemocyanin is comparatively less strained

Correction, we have to consider two bond of imine nitrogen, not the outer double bonds for a global aromatic conjugation.

Otherwise how it will be diamagnetic, i.e. electron goes to O2 and couple antiferro.
