Actually the different opening was due to the series had been later aired on another channel (the opening with the Japanese melody was on Canal+, which was a cable TV (subscription TV, that is) channel, while the other opening was when it aired on TF1, which was a public access channel).
Now I realize why the theme isn't timed correctly with the video leaving us with an awkward ending: in the Japanese intro, the music starts after the title card is shown, while the music in this one starts immediately.
BIOMAN est aussi la série des POWER RANGERS ! Il y a Force Rouge, Force Rose, Force Jaune, Force Vert et Force Bleu qui sont comme les POWER Rangers mais ce qui n’est pas pareil car il n’y a pas un sixième Rangers. D’après le générique il y a un vaisseau qui se transforme en robot 🤖 géant de combat contre les méchants, c’est génial non ?
So many memories, watching this and X-OR Sheriff de L'espace. Also playing with my cousins and all the older kids were red, blue and green and the younger boys ones always had to be pink and yellow, sucked for them, but being the second oldest was awesome always being blue.
Après tout, Toei et moi avons pu obtenir la permission pour Super Sentai. Je suppose que les citoyens français ont trouvé que ça valait la peine de regarder Bioman (mdr)
