Thank you for the video. Have you thought of growing your own willow Biomass to fuel your woodchip boiler or is your land just to good for growing willow ??

I don't know if that would be cost effective for our scale. Do you have any experience with growing for your own supply

@NorfolkFords I grow willow just outside Edinburgh but I supply willow to Edinburgh Zoo for the Giraffes to browse on. I planted cuttings this time last year that are now 3 to 4.5 m tall. Google BioMass Connect to see lots of possibilities.

That's really cool. Didn't think they would grow that fast. How many trees could you sensibly have in an acre?

@NorfolkFords the BioMass growers do about 3 to the metre 1.5 m between rows. I do 1 or two to the metre at 1.5 m or 5 foot between the rows. Harvest after 3 years. Cut with a forage harvester.
