I made one of these videos before where I read out my personal statement for my postgraduate master's course at king's college london a few months ago, and I have been getting questions asking me to make videos about personal statements for biomedical sciences! so I thought today I would read out to you my personal statement for biomed at newcastle university 5 years after I had written it, in the hopes of helping you and inspiring you to write yours. In addition to this, I have a whole bunch of videos coming up about other university application process things, and how to apply to university, what is UCAS etc. so I hope you find this useful! Also I have made a video talking about how to get work experience for university, especially biomedical sciences, so you can go and give that a watch too if you think it may help you out! enjoy!

I was so worried about not having enough to put on my personal statement, but this video has really and truly encouraged me and given me hope!! 😊 btw, I've watched all of your videos and I would like to thank you sooo much for the insight, for the tips and for everything; there are other videos on RU-vid about biomedical science, but I really appreciate the hard work you put into your channel, it's the amaazing!! New subscriber here! I'm currently waiting on my Alevel results this year and I am hopefully going to Liverpool for primary education (I'm from Northern Ireland so supperrrr nervous)! I stumbled upon your results video and loved your personality in that video so, although this video is no use to me, I had to watch! Love your vids💗x

Hi I pursue a bachelor of science in a medical laboratory technician and I am very interested in research and I choose to pursue a masters in biomedical science(thesis). But, I am still confused about taking specific specialization. So, based on your experience please suggest the best career.

Wow u did sm experience and volunteering Here's me with only one week of work experience at a pharmacy so I have no idea how to make it sound good 😭😭 Plus I'm in Yr 13 and only have like two months left till the deadline so I probably won't be able to do any more volunteering/experience

hi! so we mainly shared our work experiences, and shared contacts about different opportunities, and also discussed UKCAT! you could also do sessions where you help each other with personal statements, or potential interview techniques :)

atousa thanks a ton!! Basically, as I mentioned above, I am kind of new to the field. My parents are extremely sceptical about the course. They think its a bad idea and that it has no scope. They prefer me doing medicine. I am not very interested. Also, since I am deeply passionate about writing, I might switch streams post undergrad. You had mentioned in one of your earlier videos that a Biomedical Sciences degree is highly respected. Any tips on how to convince my parents? That's all. Thanks a LOT. ( Also, can I PM you on insta? I am really sorry to bother you like this)

hey atousa! I can't really get work experience due to the pandemic and in a country like mine (india) it's often hard to get exposure to practical knowledge tho I have gone out of my way to do so. any tips to help my PS? please tell me if there is something I can do online or something as such
