Develop bimanual coordination, tissue depth perception and knotting technique.
By presenting a penetrating keratoplasty (PKP) scenario, the user will be challenged to place radial sutures around the cornea. This task entails suturing in every direction on a thin, curved, three-dimensional structure.
Metrics such as symmetry, spacing, and edge distance can be measured to provide feedback of user performance.
