It's not very common to put plants in a BiOrb, but it can be done. You'll want to have low light plants that do not use soil. Some good choices are Moss Balls, Anubis, and Java Ferns. For a heater the best choice is the BiOrb Tropical Heater Kit.
Hello, I am looking into getting the biOrb classic 15 - 4 gallon tank. Would this be suitable for a Betta fish? Would I need to buy a heater for the tank? Also as I am looking into decorations to cover the bubble tube I noticed there are multiple different sizes of sculptures. What size sculpture would you recommended for the purpose of concealing the bubble tube? Thank you! Awesome video!
Glad you liked the video, Alyssa. The Biorb Tropical Heater Kit can be used to heat your BiOrb if your ambient room temperature is not warm enough for a Beta. Generally you will want to keep Betas between 77 and 82 degrees. If your room temperature is far lower than this, then you should get the heater. You are right that there are a lot of decorations to choose from. All of the decorations that will fit the 15L BiOrbs are labeled as fitting the 15L in the product description on the MarineAndReef.com Web site (go to MarineAndReef.com/OrbDecor).
