@@g4rc1a_87 I am terribly sorry, but the game's name comes from Ken Levin's unwillingless to create more games in the BioShock franchise (which 2K and Take-Two obviously wanted from him and Irrational Games). So he named the game not "BioShock 3" (because you can create "BioShock 4" then) but BioShock Infinite cuz, you know, it's infinite, you can't have a sequel to what's infinite. Sorry to disappoint y'all ;)

The reason that poster exists is because the Elizabeth that appears in Burial at Sea trained under Sander Cohen as a musical student in Rapture, and coincidentally gave her the nickname 'Songbird'.

that happen in 1960...in this game...it's 1968. 8 years after he died. so either Lamb found his rusted corpse at the bottom of Rapture and repaired him or Songbird is haunting Rapture.

Big sisters make 1 constant screech, song bird has little "one's" in other cases instead of 1 long screech his is in short pieces, plus a bigsister would make his screen look weird and the battle music would be playing,

You can hear exact same sound effect in infinite near the area where cops are searching for you and you go through a building where a man and a woman are speaking but get interrupted by you and cops way before you rescue Elizabeth Are you saying they randomly added some "rusty pipe noises" to a city where songbird lives? That sound exactly like it? Yeah I don't think so. Also I don't know the lore 100% but who is to say songbird's high pitched voice can't travel well in water if columbia is floating over or near Rapture. But it most likely is songbird's death since it can only be heard once around that area and it is not that loud.

@@damnsonwheredyoufindthis.3830 It was just an ambient sound so take off your tin foil hats. The devs thought this sound fit well with songbird and gave the sounds to songbird.

Even if it were a retcon, it makes no sense since Songbird, in the timeline of Bioshock Infinite that we know, was drowned the moment it was brought to Rapture's crushing ocean depths. It couldn't be making noise at this point.

That was a "Ryan's songbird" poster, a satirical song joking about Ryan and Sander Cohen by "that one singer that Cohen said he hated"(can't remember the name)

IlVongola in burial at sea is Elizabeth called ,,songbird" by Cohen. In episode 2 burial at sea you you learn Elizabeth working with Cohen before she hunt Comstock in rapture. And because she sing good , cohen called she SONG - BIRD.

Sedar Games I don't see how that is relevant, the song is called "Ryan's songbird", not "Cohen's songbird"; and Ryan's songbird is Cohen, since a lot of his works were used by Ryan as a mean of getting more followers in his "political movement". There are many audio logs in Bioshock 1 that explain the origin of the song "Ryan's songbird", either told by the author of the song himself, or by Cohen, the one the song is joking about.

Yes because infinate took place in 1912 and this is 1950 something and that part in comstock house when elizabeth was old this took place during this time so elizabeth opened a tear to rapture during bioshock 2 and during this time songbirds dying
