I didn't want this part to end. I just wanted to show her around, seeing how she interacts with everything, seeing how happy she was. I don't like seeing her sad.
I honestly did not want to interrupt her. She is enjoying herself so much, never having experienced freedom and happiness like this before in her life. Part of me wishes this moment could just last forever, but now, after having played the end, I realize this cannot be...
@@MuonMax0 i wish that was an option for the good ending this game only has one ending which seems very un bioshock to me i mean all the other ones had different endings infinite should have as well
@@andrew9371 that was the point. Bioshock infinite was supposed to be different. It was a bioshock, but in a world that is different from what would have been otherwise underwater. The whole point of the game is how it’s out of your hands and that fate will play its part no matter what you do. With a theme like that, it just wouldn’t feel right if you had freedom to change the endings.
@@hahahowfunny5921 yeah its that whole "there is no free will because the universe is deterministic" motif i understand that more now than i did last year, i've also consumed more media with this as an underlying theme as well
That was the goal actually. The developers wanted her to resemble a disney princess and used Belle as primary inspiration. They said this demeanour not only affected the player emotionally but her facial structure made it much easier to read her expressions, especially from a distance. I don't remember the exact vidoc that said this, but I distinctly remember these points being made. It was a very smart move with excellent execution.
I dont even feel any anger to myself for reading your comment that was spoiler to me, cos the reference to blade runner is really good And i will unterstand that feeling, when finish burial at sea part 2
Well it’s like, by the time he gets to the airship he has what, 5 different superpowers, and a magnetic shield protecting his body from bullets? What is the mob gonna do to him even if they chase him to Paris? But the most blessed timeline is also the most cursed timeline, if you consider the implications of Booker and Elizabeth’s compatibility, and neither of them ever finding out who Comstock is… 😬
brilliant scene, always loved brook for how comically serious he is being here, especially if you leave the dance running for ages, makes it funnier each time he tells her to stop. one of the best scene's of the game.
I'll always remember the first time I saw this, let her dance like half an hour. Great times.. "There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city." I love you Elizabeth, my sweet.. [Censored, spoiler alert]
I remember being awestruck watching this unfold before my very eye's. It was like a living breathing game. Finished it over 5 plus time's and currently playing it in VR through vorpx which is truly breathing if your system is powerful enough to run it. ✌️
It's a real shame that the harsh reality in Bioshock Infinite has forced Elizabeth to emotionally mature and harden herself in such a fast rate. When you see how happy she was on the beach, you just can't help but wanting her to feel happy as much as possible...but sadly, it was not ment to be...curse you, Comstock.
It's the little stuff like this that makes Bioshock Infinite so perfect! I honestly prefer it over the original Bioshock. I might be the minority on this, but in this game, I honestly did care about these characters and wanted to know what the hell was going to happen. I wanted to keep playing. And unlike the first Bioshock, I actually wanted to return to Infinite once it was all over, to do it all over again!
I desperately wanted a button prompt to dance with her. And before you ask, family members dancing together is a very common practice in most cultures.
Whenever i play this game, this scene comes around, it always brings back those hot and lovely summer days. And i do play this game again too f***ing often!
SPOILER ALERT _ _ _ _ _ It's really sad how they never make it to Paris. It was such a beautiful and intimate moment in the game that exposed Booker's detached and un-empathetic character that turned out to be a complicated contribution to his hamartia. Booker never made the connections that he could be Comstock and denied all responsibility for events in the game. This is supported by the fact he kills without guilt in the exposition all to get Elizabeth. He did terrorize a city in the sky.
I know Booker and Elizabeth are Father and Daughter but when Elizabeth makes Those Touches with her hand to Booker's hand is like they look like a couple ( 1:06 Like this moment when Elizabeth Says To Booker "Let's Go" taking His Hand to fallow her) *Am I the Only one?*
