BioShock Infinite Final Boss Hard Difficulty [PC]

Since I haven't gotten to this part in 1999 mode yet, i thought i would share an easy way to beat this level on hard difficulty.
Basically use charge + 1 melee to finish off standard human AI's
For rocketeers use undertow to throw them off the edge
For patriots (charge or melee, then zoom in with carbine to finish them off)
Guns are carbine (fully upgraded) + sniper (fully upgraded)
Main vigor used: Charge (fully upgraded)/Undertow for rocketeers
Gears used:
5+ kills grants bonus damage
25% increased damage when zoomed in (25% less when zoomed out)
Upon death, enemies have 40% chance to refund salt
Melee targets take more damage
Special thanks to the songbird for proving aerial assistance and elizabeth for supplying me with salt + ammunition.

Man i cannot thank you enough i was starting to get really frustrated with this last mission i went to see how people were beating it on hard looks like your way worked thanks just saw the first 3 min cuz i was just checking out different methods

For real, i don't believe this is on hard mode. I jus finished it on Hard mode, died several times & had about 1% health left on the ship core. You may jus be really really good, but most other people who claim it's on hard, at least pause it & show it in the settings as proof.

Yeah, and I get almost one shot by those rockets, my shield also goes down in one hit... Definitely not hard lol, this can also be seen by how much Elizabeth throws things at you. In easy/medium she helps alot, meanwhile in hard she barely gives you anything

ZΞRO - CELL eSports lol funny part is i Finnish it on my first try on 1999 lol I only used zap as my viger and probably some others but it was hella fun. What took me long to kill/pass was lady comstock last faze lol

I remember getting stuck here but then I would just spam the possession vigor to get the automatons and distract everyone while cutting them down one by one, always worked for me

That was exactly the opposite of my strategy. I put traps all around the core and sniped from the upper part of the ship the whole time. Great game, hardest mode was insane, especially Lady C. part😂

i ended up using murder of crows (upgraded) on the regular enemies and possession on the patriots. left lots of crow bombs, patriots killed the enemies and ignored the generator then just picked off the patriots with crank guns

New patriots spawn if the zeppelin is still in the air when you take out the whole wave. I usually songbird the patriots and let one little guy survive until I can bird the zeppelin to avoid the respawn.

Why was there such a difficulty spike at the end of the game? You know? Like, they really didn’t build up to that difficulty at all I don’t think! I’m going to try this strategy later today or tomorrow because I really got stuck. (I only knew it was the final boss fight because I looked it up.) I think it would be a lot easier if the player was the one being attacked rather than that core thingy which just sits there and takes it. 🙄. I have been looking for another strategy for this and this looks promising. Edit: Wow! That’s all I can say to this! It’s just, WOW! It worked so perfectly! That health bar thing for the ship core didn’t even get down to half way! Not even close! Thank you!

Are you sure this is hard? I'm playing on Xbox hard level and my blue sphere thing takes a hell of a lot more damage than that. The rockets seem to never miss it with me. Nice tactics though, using your vigors.

Hard mode on console is like super duper hard mode. Hopefully you've joined the pc master race now. It's been 9 years.

Those gunships and zeppelins are raining hellfire down on your ship and your ship's meter is not depleting, its taking no damage.

@@LongNguyen-pv9sm that and he is losing salts. Elizabeth just gives you salts when you run out, and there are salts around that whole level anyway. I didn’t really pay attention to the health, but I’m sure it’s the same. Plus he probably has upgrades on both of those. I kind of wish he’d show what his gear is as well.

The pc hard difficulty is must more easier then the PS3/Xbox then i had to kill at least 6 patriots

This doesn't look like hard. You see a ton of rockets going directly to the blue sphere, and the patriots shooting it a lot, along with other people. It takes close to no damage, and neither do you. Whenever I try this fight on hard just a few rockets from the zeppelins do 1/6 to 1/4 of my blue spheres health. which it obviously doesn't do for you.

Once you learn to strategize it right, its not nearly as difficult. Once I laid a bunch of lightning traps at most of the high traffic zones and was amazed how much it slowed them down, there are numerous ways to do it well, its a fun battle.

Meh I've beaten this game on 1999 mode like 5 times now. The Siren is the only enemy I have some trouble with. Usually cuz I run out of ammo

worse boss fight ever didn't they ever think just jump on the bird if you say we are trying to not crash the ship look how many things you just dropped from the sky you did more damage then good
