That reminds me of when I first played Fallout: New Vegas as a kid. It had just released and I immediately got into it and was dying to find the jewel of the wastes I saw beaming out in the desert. I explored all night and day until I finally made it to the walls of the titular city and was giddy with excitement over how long it took me to get there. But then I ended up spending another many more hours trying to figure out if and how I was supposed to get inside, thinking maybe it was a secret or underground tunnel or something or maybe it was North Vegas ruins until FINALLY I found what looked like an entrance to the city so I breathed a sigh of relief, walked up to the front door, and pressed the button to get in…and then the game instantly crashed. And then, every time I reloaded a save to try again after that the same thing would happen. I could go anywhere but inside of New Vegas so I in my little kid brain I was just like, “well I found it so I guess I beat it!” and brought the game back to Blockbuster lmfao 🤣

It's great delivery and has a pretty nice score for the scene. The delivery is so good that if you listen closely you can hear some foreshadowing in his voice.

@@adambaryliuk3393 turns out i’m still very terrified of this game so i haven’t got more than 10 hours of bumbling around in 😃 i got the trilogy though and i finally decided to play bioshock infinite instead, i’ve been enjoying that way more recently

@@potato-sweet haha i know i'm a little late but i remember my first time playing. i was more little and i was scared as shit playing through the first one and was until around halfway through. one of the only games that made me so scared i had to force myself to keep playing, such an iconic game
