This week's video is a special one! A while back I did an interview with Dr Susan Friedman discussing labels & parrot behaviour/training. It was an interesting discussion and I felt one that many people outside (and inside) the training community would find useful.
Labelling things is natural for us humans. It helps us sort the world around us and make sense of it. But when it comes to understanding and potentially solving problem behaviours in our parrots, it can be a big barrier that prevents us getting to the root cause and correctly identifying the issue.
