Hi all, as promised - a link to my seller of bird food, frozen insects, live insects, frozen fruit etc: melorm.dk Most relevant for people in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Northern Germany 😉 (not paid commercial) In the end of the video you can see the different frozen insects i use 😊
It looks like they only offer shipping to Denmark and Sweden. That's the only options I get when I am trying to order something, unfortunately. That's a shame, I thought I had finally found a good provider of frozen insects.. Oh, I live in Norway. Just thought I should mention that perhaps
You have quite a few birds that are pretty unique and I have never seen anyone own them before, like the bearded tit and the azure tit. I didn't even know they were kept in captivity! Amazing looking little birds
Thank you very much 😊🙏 Yes, the azure tit is not so common but the bearded is actually more and more common in Holland, Belgium, Denmark and UK and breed well for a softbill 😉
@@TropicalAviaryBirds Interesting. Maybe in the future I will be able to get some, although I would need more space so I could give them a proper outdoors aviary like yours :)
Thanks for the update Torben. Very exciting. All the birds are beautiful as always. Hopefully you will have more breeding success before winter comes. Take care!
Hi Liam Only sometimes - most are in the outdoor aviary. But if a pair just want to breed during winter I let them. Especially the gouldians prefer this. Sometimes the zebrafinches breed indoor also. Last year the red water parrotfinches had some cluthes indoor as well 😉
@@TropicalAviaryBirds i have large open space i am planning to built an aviary any type of birds, finches, exotic birds as you suggest according to the climate. In summer the temp is maximum 35 celsius and in winters its below 15 degree celsius freezing temp
I love your bird collection! Especially the weavers and the golden sparrows. Whats the black bird with the long tail feathers? Is it a widow bird species (Euplectus)?

Hi Torben, brilliant video, excellent information, especially the different range of insects and various food-stuffs for the different birds, your birds are in tip-top condition, the season has been a great one for you especially for the weavers! A great achievement. All the best. 🍻👍. Mark.
