Ivan writes, "This is the very first song I wrote for marimba with voice, around 2009, and has remained unpublished until now. It's a love song at heart, but a sad one, too. I wrote it for my wife (then girlfriend) as we both came to the realization that my travels would be a normal part of my life, and her life too. The performer is welcome to substitute “girl” for “boy”."
