My favourite! This year I had the big luck, one couple was nesting in the old peartree in my garden so I could observe them directly from my livingroom. I was sooo excited :-) Thank you for this film!
Beautiful it is always lovely to listen to bird song,and to listen to different birds when you are out and about and to see them.They are all so Precious and we need to protect them all.There Certainly is not the amount of birds around that use to be.

Beautiful bird. I remember these delightful birds being regular visitors to our backyards and gardens back in the 90's in Delhi, India. Sadly, they've now completely disapeared from urban spaces here. The human population growth is inexorably pushing the other species to extinction, especially in India. 😐
We used to have a nest of European Hoopes at our house around 3 years ago and they were singing like this every morning. Sadly They've been gone for quite some time now :(
i saw one flying today and landing in a lot of vegetation i was with my sister and her friends near a village cooking out in the wild and im sure i saw one i spotted the shape of the beak the way it flew and before it landed the colours too i've never thought i would see this bird
I live in France They come from MADAGASCAR the one's i see colours are different slightly depending From Africa or Asia but i see them each year. This year a Couple Rare. they are always a huge pleasure to see . 500 MILLION BIRDS LESS than 15 years ago.
Nature is the most beautiful of all and man does what he does best to it......destroys it. The chem trails have reduced our bird population by 30%. We must be very proud of these accomplishments.

I started hearing this call at night only, since 2020 Xmas. South East London. I was thinking that it was some neighbour as it’s always 3 whistles in a row!
