Birding at Batumi, Georgia - Sept 15 

Swarovski SLC 8x42. Quite old now.

@@thedetermin8or Do you find 8x42 sufficient for raptor viewing? I'm thinking of going down to 8x from 10x due to image shake but also for the wider field of view and brighter image but I worry about losing image detail. What's your opinion on this and do you think I'll be ok viewing raptors with 8x? Thankyou for your response.

@@joshuasollitt4558 I've found it fine, but I've never used 10x before, so don't know how it'd compare.

It's a Panasonic HC-V250, but it's a few years old now, so I'd imagine there's even better out there.
