The video description says it all! I'm so ready for spring here in Coastal Delaware. We've had so much rain recently, but at least the flowers are starting to bloom and the Purple Martins and Osprey have returned from their southern winter spots. It continues to fascinate me how many species we have in common, but I love seeing those in your area that we don't have here. Your Black-headed Gull looks similar to our Laughing Gull. They have a distinct call that sounds as though they are always laughing! We have had a Eurasian Teal visiting the area although I haven't seen it yet. I know with severe weather, many birds are driven off course. Finally, the Common Cranes: WOW!! Thanks for giving me so much joy this morning!
Thanks for your reaction! So nice to read how you are enjoying the video. And these cranes were indeed a bonus! First time I could catch them with my camera. What I always enjoy is the variety of birds and other creatures I encounter during my visits in 'de zumpe' , it is only small at around 120 acres, but very diverse.
