A seagull almost falls into the water during a tug of war over a fish. The wings are spread to scare off the other gull. This makes the profile look larger. Won. The fish is too big for the seagull. What now? #birds , #seagulls , #won
Those birds are mates! You can tell from the way they communicate. And yes, like humans, animal couples still fight, probably more so, over little things.
@@marchtoursThanks for the compliments, but I'm no expert 😅 I have lived in a flat where seagulls would come for a long time. I have been so much around seagulls and because I like them, I'm a bit knowledgeable xD
@@marchtours Interesting! No one has asked that question before. Very well: You're probably thinking about the moon, right? Or at least, some planet in space. Well... this is a real picture with a lot of filters. This is a picture of my room 3 years ago when I lived in London, in a very expensive shared flat. I took this picture in the dark, using the camera's flash. The "stars" that you see are actually reflections from my electric guitar which was in front of the camera, but you can't see it because of the contrast. The "moon" is... well, I can't remember. That's a bit of a mystery 🤔 When I played with the filters out of boredom, I liked how it resembled space or the moon so much. Since there's a lot of controversy, conspiracy and knowledge about space and also because I like science, I thought that it was a fitting picture for my profile.
Great, I think it's brilliant. I'm currently working on a series about the spring starry sky for a new podcast. You're the first person I've told. Many people have been impressed by the starry sky for centuries. I'm looking for fairy tales, myths, dreams and wishes.

Notice, both of them meticulously only play the ball (fish), not the man (bird). Our professional footballers could learn a lot from these gentlemen of the seas and skies.
Don't worry, nature has taken precautions. Components of a seagull's food that are sharp, angular or indigestible are compressed into a ball in the gull's stomach and spat out again.
This is a very interesting question! When it comes to the process of how seagulls regurgitate indigestible food remains, such a pellet can only be formed because the seagull's stomach shapes the food lump into a ball with the help of stomach acid and muscle contractions. Who can explain to us in more detail how this process works exactly?
I have the impression that the young gulls are fed by the adult birds for a very long time. I was able to observe how the collected prey was regurgitated by the adult gulls and quickly eaten by the young gulls. Unfortunately, I was too slow with my camera.
@@marchtours Great Black-Backed Gulls are big birds. They must have the awareness of territory. I think they are couple who share the same territory. And they are trying to tear apart of the fish.
I remember that something happened quite similar in the movie Finding Nemo. In the movies Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, the seagulls want to fight for some fishes or other ocean lives and repeat saying Mine! Mine!
Was soll der Unsinn.
