Nina Stemme has been announced as the recipient of the 2018 Birgit Nilsson Prize which will be awarded at a special ceremony on October 11 at the Royal Opera House in Stockholm.
Both the book and the Documentary are simply magnificent. Both were done with devotion and appreciation for the voice of the century and for a human being of highest integrity in her life and in her artistry. She set highest standards in every way.
