Dave Langan was one of my favourite non Reds. Played his heart out every time. After playing he became a milk man and now he works with helping homeless people and people recovering from addiction problems. His interviews are always interesting.
Pretty decent team we had here. Coton was a great goalkeeper. Dave Langan what a defender. Kevin Dillon was a midfield dynamo. Then we had Tony Evans who was the equivalent of Alfie May today. He definitely knew where the goal was.
Another top load dave 👌 I was at this game and we were kept in for over 2 hours, when we got back to the coach all the windows were smashed, we were asked if we wanted to wait for a replacement but it was a warm day and we took the back roads back to liverpool ! Scary day that !
I was getting edgy towards the end there and hoping the ref would blow the whistle. Then I remembered that the game was 40 years ago and Liverpool went on to lift the title. Phew!!
