Yep its nowhere near the largest shopping centre in Europe...even Manchester's Arndale centre is larger. It is the busiest shopping centre in the country (has the highest footfall) but its not the largest.

@@rufdymond Sorry mate, since the rebuilding of the Bullring shopping Centre and The Pallasedes Shopping centre which became Grand Central they are owned by the same management and are joined by a continuous bridge with shops on it and are marketed as The Bullring Grand Central shopping Centre so basically are larger than the Arndale Shopping centre in Manchester now and the same in Europe.

Birmingham' Bull Ring / Grand Central is the largest covered inner City Shopping Center in the UK, so no it is not false.

House building has hovered around the 100k mark for a number of years now when under the last Labour government the number was ca. 160k. There's such a thing as the Lost Output Clock. A 60k production shortfall over 10 years equals 600k houses missing from the economy. Britain built more houses during the post WW1 period when there was the Great Depression and Britain only has 40 odd million people. the reason houses don't get built is because it's easier for the establishment to make tax free profits on property speculation. Our credit system is abused so that house prices are manipulated in an upward direction for those who own most of the land and property become extremely wealthy while those that need construction jobs are left to rot in unemployment. Don't go blaming poor people from the 3rd world for your problems. it was Britain that bombed the shit out of Libya and Iraq, supported the war in Afghanistan ans supported to ISIS rebels in Syria to topple Assad because he's best friends with Putin. It's all double standards.
