As an Arsenal fan who was at Wembley yesterday, I wanna congratulate Birmingham. Played to their strengths and took advantage of us missing a few key players. Absolutely sickening the way we conceded the winner, but you took the chances and we didn't.

The guy I was replying too was a United fan. In terms of running a club, Arsenal do it very very well. However Arsenals defence was and is very shaky and mistake prone. Though you can't help but question Arsenal, United, Liverpool, etc fans because of the armchair fans hence the real team line which relies on its local fanbase. And every club has pricks that sing outrageous songs.

@wearethefuture3030 It was West Ham we come back against in the Semis, we had Villa in the Quarters and won 2-1. It's also McLeish not McGleish haha, and yeah we wouldn't of achieved the things we have in the last couple of seasons with out him. Promotion first season, highest ever finish in the Premiership in the second season, and now the Carling Cup in his third season.
@wearethefuture3030 I don't see you're problem? Man u's team is worth 10 times Birminghams, which is why this is such a big achievement for us. We won because our players gave 110% for the whole game. If you watch the game you will see we didn't just play hoof ball, and every football pundit has said we deserved to win. Now bore off and let us have our moment.
Even if Arsenal finish above us, at least we can say that Arsenal have not won a trophy for 8 years and the closest one they could get to was against a team that got relegated so glory wise Tottenham are the better team because they too beat the scum 2-1 and won a trophy

I didn't stay because I was too upset. It would have killed me to of watched you lift the trophy so I couldn't. On the tube there were a group of Birmingham fans and a lot of the fans I was with congratulated them. To criticise for not staying to watch another team lift the trophy you so desperately wanted isn't classless at all.
As a Man City fan I was delighted to see BCFC win. Its good for football that Arsenal/Chelsea/Man Utd don't win everything, plus I know how it feels not to have won a trophy in a while, whilst your cross city rivals win a lot. Well done Birmingham

It may not have been the most exciting of finals but then again few cup finals live up to the hype that the media give the, however you can not criticise the teams that played as they made it to the final. United didn't. B'ham may have been lucky with the winning goal but luck doesn't solely carry you through a whole knockout campaign. Also you said you call the league cup 'The big one', remember that is all we won last season.

We played twice in the League and we fucked up in countless number of games last season (Wigan away, Villa at home, Wolves at home, Blackburn away, etc). You never relegated us. And I have renewed my season ticket and will be going all over the country supporting my club. I am more of a fan then you who goes now and again. And you'd rather beat us twice then win something?
