Welcome to the second of our three-part video series discussing birth control options in the United States. In this video, we explore short-acting types of birth control - injectables, pills, patches, and rings. These are considered short-acting methods because you have to remember to use them daily, weekly, or monthly.
Birth control, sometimes called family planning or contraception, gives women the power to decide when and if they want to become pregnant. There are many types of birth control. By understanding the different types of birth control, how they work, and what you like and don’t like about each type, you can choose the method that is right for you.
