I love how you potrayed og!Cale's personality. He does seem like the kind of person who would hide his pain behind a mask of nonchalance instead of some typical depressed sad boy.
⚠️Slight novel spoilers ⚠️ Listen guys, og! Cale is very easily hated until you read the novel and realize he grows up after loosing everyone he cares for and becomes chad, then proceeds to become smn similar to Krs in every way.. He is actually very lovable 🤧
Love the video! And thanks for the translation and thanks for your hardwork❤ Also,i like some of the song in the video so if you dont mind may i asked the title of it? Its songs on 2:52 , 13:46 , 15:00 , 16:12 . Thank you for anyone that can help me!😊
I saw another comment talking about this but the use of the r slur was rather inappropriate. I understand that og Cale comes off as crude and someone who would use such language, but never in the novel was he ever described as discriminatory or someone who would use such derogatory language, not to mention that he was more mature than he acted. That choice in wording is not only innapropriate in this day and age but also inappropriate for his character.
Thank you for pointing this out! When I saw that I was thinking “Even IF Cale used that word, the creator of this video should have known not to use that word” . Some of their younger audience probably doesn’t understand what it means and might use it too. Growing up I used it a shit ton because everyone I was friends with used it and I thought it was just another word for dumb/stupid! I know better now that I know the meaning behind the word, so the fact that the creator used that word when they could have swapped it for another was honestly baffling
It's almost as if you shouldn't be upset over a word that doesn't affect you and has no actual meaning other than to try and upset you. Like I was taught if someone has something rude to say prove them wrong and move on with your life because you most likely will never see the person that said it to you ever again
Edit 2: DO NOT reply on this if you just going to share that you are fine with with using a slur and do it all the time, that's not something to be proud of and I'm sick of hearing it. Loved this!!!! however, at 5:47 I would refrain from using that R word. It's outdated and derogatory. Edit: Me and the video creator have reached an understanding so no need to comment more on this, especially if you are just going to say it's fine to use the r-slur. I'm tired of arguing on why that's wrong.
Og!cale's persona was disrespectful and vicious, it is no surprise that his language would reflect that I agree that maybe that word could be changed for something nicer or modern English slang like, "stupid" or "brainless" but my point still stands
@@Heavenly-Disaster That's not an excuse though. Like, imagine if someone posted a video using the n-word and said it was okay because the character was racist? If you have no right to reclaim the slur you shouldnt use it. honestly, the R-slur is one that the people who can reclaim it don't even want to because of how it was used for years upon years to discriminate against disabled people.
@@fandomtrash7505this is the word that fits the most, because it is exactly as tough as it needs to be. It suits the character and the situation. Bro, keep it simple and don't take offense at the words. Thanks for watching and commenting
Hey just letting you know you really should not be using the word you did at 5:47. It's really really not okay. I liked the rest of the video but being hit by that word by surprise was really unpleasant. Maybe next time put a warning at least before you use a word like that?
Or let people use their God-given right to freedom of speech if you are offended by a word you were not raised in a household that taught you that words are meaningless and that if someone has something rude to say you prove them wrong and move forward like my parents always said if you get angry over it then they where probably right.
Just quickly saying dont listen to the others. You using the r word was completely fine because youre portraying the character as saying it. Not you, thatd be like being angry at "to kill a mockingbird" which is commonly read in schools to 12 year olds.
