Big fan of 1999 cards. My favorites are the Chrome refractor sets - All-Etch, Lords of the Diamonds, etc. I don't buy many of them but if I see some of players that I watched I'll look into them. Shane is a true all-star. Very generous from one Sox fan to another. Enjoy the cards!
Dom, you may only have 1 card from your birth year but boy what a card. I agree 100%, CC should be in the Hall of Fame. Maybe not on the first time ballot, but on his second ballot. Very nice gifts from Shane.
