I think you will enjoy In Cold Blood; I certainly did. It was a Book of the Month Club offering many, many years ago and she chose it then. Gee, I just love your "Sod's Law" expression. I don't think we have an equivalent here in the U.S. So glad you were able to fill in the blanks of your Brother Cadfael series by Ellis Peters. That must have made you incredibly happy. So jealous.
