Hallo Mechele! I haven’t done a Westknits KAL as yet. I did start a HiberKAL pattern of his on 26 Dec ‘22 and I’m not done yet. So there is no stress for you either. Join and start and enjoy the journey! With all your knitting experience you won’t have a problem with his pattern! I’m currently knitting a Wilfreda pullover from Wenche Roald (paid pattern) and what a beautiful and different knit! I’m unashamedly knitting it with Elle Gold DK. But sadly I have ‘rotator cuff tendinitis’ and have so much discomfort that I cannot knit or crochet.😢

Hi Lara, Thank you for the reassure. I'll go and have a look at the pullover. Try to do some stretches for your hands, like to PTKnitter suggest. Some say to change the way you hold the needles might help, too. All the best 🌸

I'm not following the Westknits KAL and will happily watch everybody's choices. I may knit the shawl at some point if I like it, so no rush 😺

I truly hope the shawl will look like something I'll wear, but as Janele says, " it's a master class", so I thought of doing it while I still have the brain power 🤭 Thank you for watching

@@happyeveryarn you are most welcome, I really enjoy your videos. I have quite a few of his books and his videos are here to stay. I knit the Slipstravaganza and did not like the last two MKAL so I’ll see what it looks like. The gradient is intriguing, have fun 😸
