stay out of radar range, kite until you can come in from both sides then charge straight in to go for torps & rams. 12 vs 1 won't be able to take out all of them.

Honestly the strategy most of them seemed to go for in the third game seems much safer and better: survive the first radar with the targetted person retreating and everyone else getting relatively close, then have most of the DDs smoke up - with 3 DDs you can even get a good infinite smoke going, especially if they're USN - while a couple remain undetected outside of smoke to spot. The DDs can do a lot of damage if you let them. Obviously if the Edgar kites outside of your range then it gets trickier, but if the Edgar does that to the rush and torp strategy then there's nothing you can do (you're not going to outrun it in time with maybe 5kts advantage at most with speed boost). At least if you're shooting your guns you have a much better chance and can lay smoke for those behind you.

I dont understand...shouldn't this be an easy victory if you just all line up and rush him at full speed? He will certainly die to torps before he can kill you all.
