Have you thought about getting a bridle fitter out? They try all sorts of different shaped anatomical headpieces, browbands etc and recommend the one/ones that fit your horse's conformation best and not interfering with important/sensitive parts of the face such as the TMJ. I had a consultation for my horse and learnt she has a large ear muscle and narrow poll so the shape of the headpiece needed to be cut back enough not to interfere with her ear rotation and be narrow enough to fit between her ears.

Loved the whole tack shop experience. I wish that we had more of that her in Australia....well, from the Sunshine Coast area. I would really love more endurance tack available.
