it was nice in the 60s, and went to the dogs in the 70s. As an historian born in Sunderland I appreciate these walks and talks about Sunderland's great past. Good for you.

I have recently moved back to Sunderland after a little hiatus of 40 years! I joined the Royal Navy at 16 and I've just got home? Lots of poor content about this old town online, and you rock up and take the show to task! If you haven't been approached by local TV yet I would be very suprised........stevie

Amazing historic tour of Sunderland town centre which goes unnoticed at ground level walking from place to place. Victorian era investment in Sunderland was huge leaving jewels which todays council need to make the most of now.

Enjoyed this a lot. Despite being born and bred and living in Sunderland for my first 40+ years, Sunniside is an area I hardly frequented (apart from the odd drinking establishment, usually in the dark) but seeing those fantastic old buildings has inspired me to return for a good nose around.
