Farewell to Terceira: The Last Episode of the Azores Islands Guide Series
Welcome to the last, 18th episode of the Azores Islands Guide series! Join us as we explore the breathtaking nature of Terceira Island one last time.
From the lush forests of Mata da Serreta to the stunning ocean pools at Biscoitos beach, this final installment is a tribute to the beauty of the Azores.
Our journey begins with a scenic ride around the coast, where we visit the northernmost part of the island. The first stop is Mata da Serreta natural reserve, a magical place filled with the essences of the forest. We then make our way to the local restaurant Caneta, only to discover that we didn't have a reservation. Luckily, we find a cozy snack bar called Bombeiros just around the corner, where we enjoy delicious burgers.
Next, we visit Casa Agricola Brum - a Local Wine museum, to learn about the history of Azorian wine and the unique lava rock vineyards. Finally, we end our adventure at Biscoitos beach, where we marvel at the stunning ocean pools nestled among black lava rocks.
As our time in the Azores comes to an end, we say goodbye with heavy hearts. This 19-episode series has been a labor of love, and we want to thank all of you for your support throughout this incredible journey.
